The Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor comes in five general trim levels: E, S, S+, G, and V. For E, S, and S+ trim levels, there are 5MT and 5AMT transmission options; for G and V trim levels, there are 5MT and 6AT. The S AMT and S+ AMT versions are now Rs 5,500 more expensive than the previous models.
Toyota has implemented a consistent price increase of Rs 500 for all other models. The starting price of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor is now Rs 7.74 lakh (ex-showroom) because to this price increase. The price of the highest version will now be Rs 13.04 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Maruti Fronx has been rebranded as the Toyota Taisor. Toyota purchases it from Maruti, which manufactures it. The Toyota Rumion and Maruti Ertiga follow a similar strategy. Regarding Taisor/Fronx, the Maruti version starts at Rs 7.52 lakh (ex-showroom) for Sigma trim, which is a more reasonable starting price. The Fronx Turbo Alpha AT with the highest specifications costs Rs 12.88 lakh (ex-sh).

The 1.2-liter K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine that powers Taisor and Fronx produces 89.73 PS and 113 Nm of torque. Additionally, there is a 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 100.06 PS and 147.6 Nm. The Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor’s price increase is probably the result of increased production costs. The list of hardware and equipment has not changed.
Other SUVs under four meters are competitors of the Toyota Taisor and Maruti Fronx. The following vehicles are on the list: Mahindra XUV3XO, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Exter, Kia Syros, Skoda Kylaq, and Tata Nexon. Taisor/Fronx will be the best-selling combination in this market if sales are combined.
There are three trim levels available for the Toyota Rumion: S, G, and V. There are two transmission options: 5MT and 6AT. The cost of every Toyota Rumion model has increased by Rs 10,000. The base model of the Toyota Rumion is now priced at Rs 10.54 lakh (ex-showroom) due to the price increase. The most expensive version would set you back Rs 13.83 lakh (ex-showroom).

The power and torque figures decrease to 88 PS and 121.5 Nm in CNG mode. The Rumion is marketed as a reasonably priced, fuel-efficient MPV. The MT’s mileage is 20.51 km/l, while the AT’s is 20.11 km/l. Mileage is greater with CNG (26.11 km/kg).
