Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition, a new cosmetic package designed to enhance the SUV’s visual appeal. Priced at ₹31,999, the Aero Edition is a dealer-level upgrade available across all variants of the Hyryder for a limited time. It can be added at the time of purchase or retrofitted later through authorised Toyota dealerships. The Aero Edition does not alter the powertrain or mechanical setup of the SUV. Instead, it focuses on exterior enhancements and subtle detailing changes that give the Hyryder a distinguished look. The upgrade is available for both mild-hybrid and strong-hybrid variants, which house the familiar 1.5-litre petrol engines, the former available with a five-speed manual or six-speed TC automatic, and the latter with an e-CVT gearbox.
Sportier Design Elements
The Aero Edition package adds few styling elements that set it apart from the standard Hyryder. It includes a front spoiler, side skirts, and a rear spoiler, all of which give it a more aggressive stance. It comes with four exterior colour options, White, Silver, Black, and Red. These elements give the bumper a more aggressive and sporty look. Toyota has designed the package to integrate seamlessly with the SUV’s existing design without affecting aerodynamics or ground clearance. The feature list remains the same as before, meaning buyers can still enjoy the 17-inch alloy wheels, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car features, ventilated leather seats, and 360-degree camera depending on the chosen trim.

The launch of the Hyryder Aero Edition coincides with the festive season when automakers typically introduce special editions to boost showroom interest. The package gives Toyota’s popular midsize SUV a fresh identity, appealing to buyers who value customisation. Importantly, since the Aero Edition is a dealer-installed package, customers retain full warranty coverage and can have the parts fitted even after purchase. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder range currently starts at ₹10.94 lakh and goes up to ₹19.76 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end strong-hybrid variants. By offering the Aero Edition as a customisation option, Toyota aims to strengthen the Hyryder’s appeal in India’s competitive midsize SUV segment, where style and personalisation have become key buying factors.
