Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the 2026 Innova Crysta in India with updated styling, new features, and revised pricing. The MPV now starts at ₹19.72 lakh (ex-showroom), making it up to ₹83,000 more expensive than before. Toyota has not made any mechanical changes to the vehicle. Industry reports suggest this could be the final major update before the Innova Crysta exits the market in 2027.

Prices In India

Toyota offers the 2026 Innova Crysta in four trims: GX, GX+, VX, and ZX. Prices start at ₹19.72 lakh for the GX 7-seater and reach ₹26.63 lakh for the top-spec ZX variant.

Buyers can choose between 7-seat and 8-seat layouts on most variants. However, Toyota offers the ZX trim exclusively in a 7-seater configuration with captain seats in the second row.

Exterior Design & Styling

Toyota has refreshed the Innova Crysta with subtle exterior updates. The MPV now features a revised front grille and redesigned chrome bumper garnishes.

The rear bumper also receives updated chrome detailing. Depending on the variant, buyers get automatic LED projector headlamps, halogen fog lamps, and either 16-inch or 17-inch alloy wheels.

Interior & Features

Toyota has introduced a new dual-tone upholstery theme inside the cabin. The company has also added Grace Copper accents on the steering wheel, door trims, and other interior elements.

In addition, Toyota has revised the detailing around the AC controls, switches, and second-row seatback tables. These updates aim to give the cabin a fresher appearance without changing the overall layout.

Comfort & Convenience Features

The feature list varies across variants. Higher trims offer automatic climate control, cruise control, ambient lighting, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an 8-way powered driver’s seat.

Toyota has also added a wireless charger to the VX and ZX variants. Furthermore, the ZX trim now includes a tyre pressure monitoring system for added convenience.

Safety Features

Toyota continues to offer ABS with EBD and Hill Start Assist as standard across the range.

The GX and GX+ variants come equipped with 3 airbags. Meanwhile, the VX and ZX trims receive 7 airbags. This setup allows Toyota to offer different safety packages across the lineup while maintaining essential safety equipment on all variants.

Engine & Gearbox

Toyota has retained the existing powertrain for the 2026 Innova Crysta. The MPV continues to use a 2.4 L diesel engine that produces 150 HP and 343 NM of torque.

The engine works with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Toyota also includes Eco and Power drive modes as standard across all variants.

Rivals In India

The Innova Crysta continues to compete in the premium MPV segment. Key rivals include the Kia Carens, Maruti Suzuki Invicto, and the hybrid-focused Toyota Innova Hycross.

Despite increasing competition, the Crysta remains one of the few diesel-powered MPVs available in the segment.

Conclusion

The 2026 Toyota Innova Crysta receives a modest update focused on styling, features, and cabin enhancements. Toyota has retained the proven diesel engine and practical MPV layout that have defined the model for years. With prices now ranging from ₹19.72 lakh to ₹26.63 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated Crysta continues its run ahead of its expected discontinuation in 2027.
