Toyota India has made some revisions to the pricing of their most popular SUV in the Indian Market, the Fortuner. From June 2025 Toyota Fortuner will get an ₹68,000 price hike, making the ex-showroom prices of the Fortuner go higher. These revisions apply to certain petrol and diesel variants of the Fortuner. The adjustments follow the recent launch of Neo Drive 48V in the Fortuner and Legender.

Line-up Streamlining ?

Toyota has the new Fortuner Neo Drive mild hybrid, replacing the Diesel 4×4 automatic variants. This is apparently being done to streamline their lineup, helping them to focus more on the production of the Mild Hybrid. With the new Fortuner, the lineup has nine distinct variants to choose from.

Conclusion

As the ex-showroom prices go up, the Fortuner lineup’s entry-level pricing begins at ₹36.05 Lakh ex-showroom. The Mild Hybrid variants offer slightly better efficiency and features like the wireless charging pad, 360° camera, and terrain-select modes, including Mud, Sand, Rock, Dirt, and Snow. Even after the price hike, the Fortuner will still be competing with old rivals with the likes of MG Gloster, Jeep Meridian, and Skoda Kodiaq.
