Audi has unveiled the third-generation Q3 in India ahead of its market launch in October 2026. The new Q3 gets a sharper exterior, a more modern cabin and updated technology. It will be locally assembled in India and is expected to cost around Rs 60 lakh, ex-showroom. The new Q3 will continue to compete in the entry-level luxury SUV segment. Exterior Design
The new Audi Q3 measures 4,531 MM in length, 1,859 MM in width and 1,623 MM in height. Its 2,681 MM wheelbase also makes it larger than the outgoing model. Audi has given the SUV a sharper design with split LED headlamps and a wide grille. The front also gets a larger honeycomb-patterned air dam and a silver skid plate.
The side profile features body-coloured cladding, dual-tone alloy wheels and roof rails. A thick L-shaped chrome element runs along the beltline, while black trim around the glass creates a floating-roof effect. At the rear, split LED tail-lamps sit across the tailgate and connect through an LED strip. The illuminated Audi emblem adds another distinctive detail. A roof spoiler, sculpted bumper and silver skid plate complete the design.
Interior & Features
The new Q3 gets a significantly more modern cabin than its predecessor. The India-spec model shown features a black interior with beige seats and a redesigned dashboard layout. The cabin gets a 12.8-inch touchscreen and an 11.9-inch digital driver’s display. A new squircle-shaped four-spoke steering wheel also forms part of the updated interior.
The centre console houses physical buttons for essential functions. It also includes a wireless charging pad, engine start/stop button, media control knob, electronic parking brake and cup holders.
Gets New Controls & More Technology
Audi has replaced the conventional gear selector with a stalk positioned behind the steering wheel. The light and wiper functions are integrated into the other stalk. This layout gives the centre console a cleaner appearance, although it may require some adjustment for existing Audi owners. The Q3 also gets a Sonos sound system, panoramic sunroof and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Other features include dual-zone climate control, paddle shifters, configurable ambient lighting and a 360-degree camera. Boot space stands at 488 litres, providing useful luggage capacity for everyday use.
Engine & Performance
The new Q3 is expected to use the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine as the outgoing model. It produces 204 HP and 320 NM of torque. A 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels through Audi’s Quattro AWD system. Quattro AWD is expected to remain standard on the India-spec Q3.
Audi claims a 0-100 KM/H time of 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 229 KM/H. The powertrain therefore continues to focus on a balance of performance and everyday usability.
India Launch
