This limited run model has been launched in India at a price of ₹4.98 crore (ex-showroom). It is based on the long wheelbase Range Rover, being further customised by the brand’s bespoke SV division and this is the first ever special issue vehicle crafted exquisitely only for our country.

What’s Special?

Only 12 units of the SUV will be ever produced in total and each one will have a bespoke door sill plate denoting which specifically numbered example it is. The special works, customization SV division have used a unique black finish on the exterior that has a reddish finish. Contrasting ‘Corinthian Bronze’ and ‘Anthracite’ accents that are said to be inspired by a tiger’s stripes, have been used for the front grille, on the rear tail gate and also for the 23 inch alloy wheels as well.

The Cabin

The four seat interior features ‘Caraway and Perlino’ semi aniline leather with contrast stitching and gets embroidery that is again inspired by the stripes on the spine of a tiger. Customised scatter cushions, chrome highlights, light wenge veneers and white ceramic dials have also been used. As this edition is based on the SV variant, the rear seat passengers get fully reclinable seats, a powered table, deployable cupholders and a refrigerated compartment with ‘SV’ etched glassware.

Powertrain

It is powered by the same 400 HP, 550 N-m, three litre, six cylinder, tubo petrol engine as seen in the Autobiography variant. The automaker says that they will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sales of this model to the Wildlife Conservation Trust of India.
