Exterior Design & Styling

The Tata Sierra EV closely resembles its ICE counterpart while featuring a few EV-specific updates. It gets a body-coloured closed grille, revised front bumper with additional gloss-black elements, and exclusive Sierra.ev badging. The side profile remains unchanged, although higher variants ride on 19-inch alloy wheels instead of the standard 18-inch units. The SUV also offers a generous 205 MM ground clearance.

Interior & Premium Features

The Sierra EV offers a spacious and feature-rich cabin with a modern dashboard design. Depending on the variant, buyers get a triple-screen layout comprising a 12.3-inch infotainment display, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 12.3-inch passenger display. Other highlights include a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats, Boss Mode, dual-zone climate control, a powered tailgate, and a 12-speaker JBL Black audio system.

Safety & Technology

Tata has equipped the Sierra EV with an extensive list of advanced safety features. Every variant comes with six airbags as standard, while higher trims offer Level 2 ADAS, Auto Park Assist, a Head-Up Display (HUD), a 360-degree camera with underbody view, digital key, OTA updates, and connected car technology. Additionally, the SUV supports Vehicle-To-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-To-Vehicle (V2V) charging functions.

Battery, Range & Performance

The Sierra EV is available with 63 KWH and 75 KWH battery packs. The 63 KWH Rear-Wheel Drive variant produces 238 HP and 315 NM, while the 75 KWH Rear-Wheel Drive model delivers 209 HP and 315 NM. The flagship AWD version adds a second motor, generating a combined 504 NM. Tata claims a 0 to 100 KM/H sprint of just 5.8 seconds for the AWD variant in Boost Mode.

Charging & Driving Range

Tata claims an MIDC-certified driving range of up to 665 KM for the 75 KWH Rear-Wheel Drive variant. The AWD version offers up to 624 KM, while the 63 KWH model delivers up to 535 KM. Using a 120 KW DC fast charger, the Sierra EV can add up to 263 KM of range in just 15 minutes. A full AC charge using the optional 7.2 KW charger takes between 8.9 and 10.5 hours, depending on the battery pack.

Prices In India

The Tata Sierra EV is priced between ₹18.79 lakh and ₹25.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The range starts with the Pure 63 KWH Rear-Wheel Drive variant, while the fully loaded Empowered A 75 KWH AWD sits at the top of the lineup. Buyers should note that the optional 7.2 KW home charger and installation cost an additional ₹49,000.

Competition In India

The Tata Sierra EV competes with several midsize electric SUVs in India. Its key rivals include the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, MG ZS EV, and VinFast VF6.
