The Nexon i-CNG has been finally introduced, with the prices ranging between ₹8.99-14.59 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with a turbo petrol engine, a first for any CNG car in India and also with this powertrain, the crossover now comes with a panoramic sunroof.

Changes

It now comes with Tata’s dual cylinder technology, having a total combined water capacity of 60 litres. This system allows it to still have a very useable and normal looking boot space of 321 litres, unlike most CNG cars from other brands, but it is still 61 litres less than the standard Nexon.

Currently the SUV is not being offered with any sort of automatic transmission option for now, but it will most likely come with an AMT gearbox in the near future just like its stablemates the Tiago, Tigor, Altroz and Punch i-CNG.
Safety And Features

Six airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP, ISOFIX child seat mounts, reverse parking sensors and CNG specific items like Leak Detection, Thermal Incident Protection as standard. Higher variants get things like height adjustable front seat belts, front parking sensors, 360-degree cameras, blind spot monitor, TPMS, auto headlights and rain sensing wipers to name a few.
The new panoramic sunroof is the main highlight here on the top-spec trim, but it also comes with other technology like the dual 10.25-inch infotainment screen and driver’s display setup, ventilated front seats, cooled glove box, eight speaker JBL sound system, auto AC, air purifier, capacitive touch panel for the controls, reverse parking camera, wireless phone charger and cornering fog lamps.
