Tata Adds Stealth Edition To Harrier & Safari Range
Tata Motors has launched the 2026 Harrier Stealth Edition and Safari Stealth Edition in India. The new special editions are based on the fully loaded Fearless Ultra and Accomplished Ultra trims and are available with both petrol and diesel powertrains. Unlike the earlier limited-run Stealth models, the new versions join the regular lineup with wider availability across dealerships.
Tata Harrier & Safari Stealth Edition Prices In India
The Harrier Stealth Edition is priced between Rs 23.43 lakh and Rs 26.01 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the Safari Stealth Edition range starts at Rs 24.09 lakh and goes up to Rs 26.76 lakh (ex-showroom).
These prices place both SUVs near the top of Tata’s premium SUV portfolio.
Prices In The Middle East
Tata has not announced the Harrier or Safari Stealth Edition for Middle Eastern markets. However, if launched in countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain or Oman, pricing would depend on local taxes, specifications and import costs. Tata currently has no official launch timeline for these special editions in the region.
Stealth Black Exterior Enhances Road Presence
The biggest visual highlight is the exclusive Stealth Black paint finish. Tata has also finished the 19-INCH alloy wheels in Matte Stealth Black, giving both SUVs a more aggressive appearance. Additionally, Stealth badges on the front fenders distinguish these editions from the standard Harrier and Safari.
The overall body design remains unchanged, preserving the SUVs’ muscular stance and premium proportions.
All-Black Cabin With Premium Features
Inside, both SUVs receive a full black theme paired with Carbon Noir leatherette upholstery. A jewel-like rotary controller for the Terrain Response system further elevates the cabin ambience.
Since the Stealth Editions are based on the top trims, they include:

Petrol & Diesel Engines Retained
Mechanically, the Stealth Editions remain unchanged. The 1.5-L turbo-petrol direct-injection engine produces 170 HP and 280 NM, while the 2.0-L turbo-diesel engine delivers 170 HP and 350 NM.
Both engines are available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Tata has also retained the Terrain Response modes for improved versatility across different driving conditions.
Rivals In India
The Tata Harrier Stealth Edition competes with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Mahindra XUV7X0, MG Hector, Jeep Compass, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq. Meanwhile, the Safari Stealth Edition takes on the Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar in the three-row SUV segment.

The 2026 Tata Harrier and Safari Stealth Editions focus on style rather than mechanical changes. Nevertheless, the exclusive blacked-out exterior, premium all-black cabin and extensive feature list make them stand out within Tata’s SUV range.
