Battery Pack & Warranty

The Tata Curvv EV SeriesX is now available exclusively with a 55 KWH battery pack. Tata Motors is also offering a lifetime battery warranty, valid for 15 years from the vehicle’s first registration date.

This move comes as competition intensifies in India’s growing midsize electric SUV segment, where battery warranty coverage has become an important factor for buyers.

Motor & Performance Details

The 55 KWH Curvv EV uses a front-mounted electric motor producing 167 BHP and 215 NM of torque. According to MIDC figures, the electric SUV offers a claimed driving range of 502 KM on a full charge.

Charging performance also remains competitive, with DC fast charging enabling a 10 to 80 percent top-up in approximately 40 minutes.

Curvv EV Accomplished X Features

The Accomplished X variant focuses on comfort and technology features. It comes equipped with dual 10.25-inch displays, a panoramic sunroof, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 360-degree camera system.

Additionally, Tata offers ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, rear sunshades, and a blind-spot monitoring display in this variant.

Curvv EV Empowered X Features

The Empowered X trim adds several premium features over the Accomplished X variant. Buyers get a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a nine-speaker JBL audio system, and a six-way powered driver seat.

Furthermore, Tata includes Level 2 ADAS with 20 functions, vehicle-to-load functionality, vehicle-to-vehicle charging support, and 18-inch aero-optimized alloy wheels.

Charging & Range Details

With a 7.2 KW AC charger, the Curvv EV requires around 7.6 hours for a full 10 to 100 percent charge cycle. Meanwhile, DC fast charging allows the battery to charge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 40 minutes, making the SUV more practical for longer journeys.

Market Position & Rivals

The Tata Curvv EV competes in India’s midsize electric SUV segment against models such as the MG ZS EV, Mahindra BE 6, and upcoming Hyundai electric SUVs. With revised pricing, larger battery availability, and additional features, Tata aims to strengthen the Curvv EV’s position in the premium electric SUV category.
