Tata Motors has rolled out an update for the Curvv and its electric counterpart, the Curvv.ev, introducing a new dual-tone interior theme and several comfort-focused features. The SUV now gets a redesigned cabin finished in a lighter dual-tone theme. This change aims to make the cabin feel more spacious and inviting. While the exterior design remains largely unchanged, these subtle enhancements distinguish the 2026 version from the earlier model. Only the higher variants of the Curvv and Curvv.ev benefit from these changes. These visual updates reflect Tata’s ongoing effort to refine its SUV lineup in both appearance and practicality.

Enhanced Cabin Comfort & Features
A major highlight of this update is the addition of a two-zone automatic climate control system, which allows independent temperature settings for the front passengers. Rear passengers now benefit from window sunshades and an armrest with built-in cup holders. In addition, the rear seats are perforated and feature air pockets that inflate slightly whenever passengers shift, thus improving comfort. A sleek white carbon-fibre trim now runs across the dashboard, and the cabin gets a new Lalitpur Grey dual-tone interior theme with leatherette upholstery. The Curvv EV gets a few extras of its own, including a winged headrest and a raised floorboard that doubles as a footrest. These updates are specific to the Accomplished trim of the ICE-powered Curvv, as well as the Empowered and Accomplished trims of the Curvv EV. These changes bring the Curvv closer to premium mid-size SUVs in terms of cabin experience.

Powertrain Options Remain Unchanged
While the feature list has grown, the mechanical setup remains the same. The Curvv gets a 1.2-litre Revotron turbo-petrol (120HP & 170NM) and a 1.2-litre Hyperion direct-injection turbo-petrol (125HP & 225NM). The diesel option is a 1.5-litre Kryojet turbo-diesel unit that produces 118HP and 260NM of torque. All engines get a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The Curvv.ev, on the other hand, maintains its dual battery configuration. It offers either a 45kWh (150HP & 215NM) or 55kWh (167HP & 215NM) battery pack offering a range of 502 and 585 KM, respectively, on a full charge.

Given the steady rise in competition in the compact coupe-SUV segment, these upgrades help the Curvv and Curvv.ev stay relevant while appealing to buyers who value comfort and technology in equal measure. Prices for the Curvv start at ₹9.66 lakh, while the Curvv EV begins at ₹17.49 lakh, ex-showroom.
