Tata Curvv And Curvv EV Get Discounts For The First Time

Tata Curvv is the most recent addition to the fleet of Tata’s SUV range. It’s a car that’s available in all possible powertrain options ranging from petrol to diesel to electric. The Curvv has not been able to gather many buyers since its launch due to which the brand has announced discounts for Curvv.

Discounts Announced

While the buyers opting for the Financial Year 2025 variant can get savings of ₹20,00, buyers opting for the Financial Year 2024 variant can get discounts of ₹50,000 across all variants. Curvv is a C-segment SUV that looks to compete against top-selling SUVs like Creta, Seltos, and more.

Mechanical Specifications

Under the hood, one can get one of the following engine options:

• A 1.5L Turbo diesel engine that produces 115HP and 260NM torque.
• A 1.2L Turbo petrol engine that produces 120HP and 170NM torque.
• A 1.2L Turbo petrol engine that produces 125HP and 225NM torque. (This engine is only available in higher trims)
• A 45kWh battery pack produces 115PS and 215NM which gets a range of 502KMs.
• A 55kWh battery pack produces 170PS and 215NM which gets a range of 585KMs.

The Feature list of Curvv and Curvv EV goes like this:

• A 10.25-inch driver display
• A 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
• A Level-2 ADAS suite.
• An electronic parking brake with auto hold.
• Reclining function for rear seats.
• An air purifier.
• Connected Car Tech.
• A powered tail gate.
• Auto-dimming IRVM.
• LED Headlights and Taillights with sequential function.

Conclusion

Curvv was a much-anticipated SUV in the Indian market but the sales figures of the Curvv tell a very different story. The sales figures of Curvv and Curvv EV are not as good as they were expected to be and the reason behind this is its similarity with the Nexon. Tata shared a lot of parts with Nexon and Curvv due to which the looks of the two cars are very similar. This did not fascinate buyers to get the Curvv.
