Skoda showcased the Vision 7S concept at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, showcasing their vision for the future of electric vehicles (EVs). Their futuristic concept is based on Skoda’s new “Modern Solid” design language and offers a glimpse of what to expect from the brand in the future as it electrifies its portfolio.

Exterior Design

The Vision 7S’s front fascia is dominated by a blanked-off grille with seven vertical slats, with T-shaped LED headlights and daytime running lights (DRLs). The lower bumper has black cladding with a silver skid plate.

The side profile shows the vehicle with digital outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs) that feature a camera instead. The doors have flush handles & resemble Rolls-Royce-style suicide doors. The vehicle comes with 22-inch alloy wheels and a gently sloping roofline to enhance aerodynamics. At the rear, it again comes with T-shaped tail-lights and a rear-mounted spoiler.

Interior

The Vision 7S focuses on minimalism with luxury and sustainability in mind. The interior comes with a black and green theme with orange accents, complemented by the use of recycled materials like polyester yarns. It comes with a 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, an augmented reality heads-up display and a panoramic glass roof. It also features a central spine that can house a baby steat.

The cabin is highly adaptable and has two modes – Drive & Relax. In Drive mode, the dashboard and controls position themselves to offer the driver the best ergonomics. In relax mode, the dashboard slides back, the infotainment screen rotates to a landscape orientation, and the front seats swivel backwards allowing the passengers to face each other.

Powertrain & Performance

The Vision 7S is powered by an 89 kWh battery pack delivering a claimed range of over 600 km on a single charge. It supports DC fast charging up to 200 kW, letting the battery go from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes. It is built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform.

Future & Launch

The Vision 7S is a concept vehicle, but a production-spec ready 7 seater SUV inspired by the Vision 7S should be ready globally by early 2026 with Skoda potentially debuting it in India in 2027.
