Skoda Auto India has released official teaser images of its upcoming dark-theme special editions for the Kylaq, Kushaq, and Slavia. The move follows the growing popularity of blacked-out styling packages in the Indian market, with several manufacturers offering similar cosmetic upgrades.
Design Updates

From the preview images, all three models come with feature gloss-black grilles, black alloy wheels with red brake callipers and dark-themed exterior elements, including the grille. The Kylaq’s teaser shows a more pronounced front profile with darker accents around the headlights, while the Kushaq and Slavia also incorporate smoked headlamp housings and blacked-out window surrounds.
Interior

Although the teasers focus on exterior design, these editions are expected to carry forward the dark-theme treatment inside the cabin. We might possibly get contrast stitching and darker trim materials as part of an all-black layout. Features such as infotainment touchscreens, smartphone connectivity, automatic climate control, will be retained, but Skoda has finally added a 360-degree parking camera as part of this edition!
Performance

The dark-theme editions are not expected to bring changes to engine or transmission options. The Kushaq currently offers a 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine producing 117 BHP and a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine producing 148 BHP, both paired with manual and automatic gearbox options. The Slavia carries the same powertrain choices, while the Kylaq shares the 1.0L TSI engine with its siblings.
Pricing

They are expected to carry a modest premium over standard trims. The new special editions are part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of the brand in India. These are being launched just in time for the festive season. The cars get puddle lamps, a 25-year badge and a 360-degree parking camera as some additional features.
