Skoda Auto will bring the diesel-powered Superb back to India in the first half of 2027. The flagship sedan will return as a completely built-up unit (CBU) and sit at the top of Skoda’s India portfolio. It will also mark the return of a diesel engine to the brand after Skoda discontinued diesel models in India ahead of the BS6 emission norms.

The fourth-generation Superb made its global debut in 2023 and appeared at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in 2025. Skoda had already indicated plans to bring the sedan to India. Now, the company is preparing to introduce the diesel version as a low-volume import.
