Skoda is gearing up to broaden its range, a fact that’s no secret. However, there’s an exciting new development unfolding. It appears that the company has also begun testing the upcoming facelift model, with initial attention directed towards the outgoing Slavia model. Stick around as we dive into the details and offer you a closer look at the captured images.

Feature Additions:

There have been discussions about Skoda possibly adding Level 2 ADAS features to the upcoming Slavia facelift. This would be a significant safety enhancement that many are eager to see. These updates could extend to other forthcoming facelift models, including the anticipated Kushaq facelift. Additionally, the inclusion of a 360-degree camera is expected, further enhancing safety and convenience.

Design Details:

In these captured photos, you can see the sleek lines of the sedan’s exterior. The focus is on the back, where the rear resembles the previous model, but we’re expecting some changes, especially around the taillights. From what we can see, there’s a small bar-shaped detail, but the full picture is still a mystery.

The side profile maintains that sleek appearance, likely with minimal alterations; you can spot the pull-out door handle and electrically adjustable side mirrors. While the front isn’t shown, we’re expecting updates there too, possibly with redesigned headlights, fog lights, and grille, maybe even some tweaks to the bonnet. And of course, there’s talk of new alloy wheels in the mix.

Under the Hood:

Beneath the surface, no significant changes are anticipated. Presently, The Skoda Slavia offers two engine options: a 1.0-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre petrol. The 1.0-litre engine delivers 114bhp and 178Nm of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre engine packs more power, with 148bhp and 250Nm of torque. It’s available with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
