Skoda is all set to introduce the Kylaq, its upcoming subcompact crossover on November 6, 2024. This SUV will play a key role in the brand’s ‘India 2.5’ strategy. The Kylaq is designed to rival popular models in the now already highly crowded sub-compact under 4 metre SUV category and it is expected to be priced aggressively.

The Kylaq will borrow several design elements from its elder sibling, the Kushaq. It will feature Skoda’s signature grille and split LED headlight setup with the DRLs placed above the headlights. At the rear, inverted L-shaped LED tail lights will give it a distinct look and a ground clearance of 187 MM will contribute to its SUV look.
Interior
Inside, the Kylaq is expected to carry several elements from the Kushaq. The materials used inside will likely include soft touch plastics and fabric or leatherette upholstery. Key interior details include:

This engine is already seen in models like the Kushaq, Slavia, Taigun, Virtus and promises to offer good performance, fuel efficiency.
Expected Price And Launch Date
The Kylaq is expected to be priced starting around ₹8 lakh (ex-showroom). It will debut globally on 6 November 2024, with an official India launch by early 2025.
