The Kodiaq lineup now caters to a wider range of buyers, from luxury family SUV customers to driving enthusiasts. The RS sits at the top of the range and commands a significant premium over the locally assembled variants due to its fully imported CBU status.

Powerful Turbo-Petrol Engine & AWD Performance

The Kodiaq RS uses Skoda’s EA888 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 265 HP and 400 NM. Compared to the standard Kodiaq, output increases by 61 HP and 80 NM.

Power reaches all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Furthermore, Skoda claims a 0-100 KM/H sprint in just 6.3 seconds, making it the quickest production Skoda ever launched in India. Progressive steering and Dynamic Chassis Control Plus with 15 suspension settings also improve handling and ride comfort.

Sportier Exterior With Exclusive RS Styling

The Kodiaq RS looks noticeably more aggressive than the standard SUV. It receives redesigned bumpers, RS badges, polished dual exhaust outlets and larger 20-inch alloy wheels.

Meanwhile, gloss black accents cover the grille, ORVMs, roof rails, window surrounds and D-pillar for a premium appearance. Buyers can choose from Velvet Red, Magic Black, Moon White and Steel Grey exterior colours.

Premium Cabin With Advanced Features

Inside, the Kodiaq RS combines luxury with sporty styling. Red contrast stitching appears across the seats, steering wheel and dashboard, while RS embossing and metallic trim further distinguish the flagship model.

The SUV comes equipped with a 12.9-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, 3-zone climate control, powered front seats with ventilation, heating, massage and memory functions, plus a 13-speaker Canton premium sound system.

Safety & Driver Assistance

Safety remains a major highlight of the Kodiaq RS. The SUV offers nine airbags, a 360-degree camera and an advanced ADAS suite that enhances confidence during both city driving and long highway journeys.

Additionally, premium technologies such as adaptive suspension and intelligent all-wheel drive improve stability across different road conditions.

Competition In India

The Skoda Kodiaq RS enters the premium performance SUV segment with limited direct competition. Its closest rival is the Volkswagen Tayron R-Line, which offers a lower purchase price but produces less power and misses advanced features such as Dynamic Chassis Control Plus.

For buyers seeking a luxurious seven-seat SUV with strong performance, premium technology and everyday practicality, the Kodiaq RS positions itself as one of the most capable options currently available in India.
