1 min read

Rolls‑Royce has introduced the Spectre Black Badge in India. Bookings have begun at the Chennai and New Delhi showrooms, with the car priced at ₹9.50 crore (ex-showroom, without options). This variant joins as the most powerful and exclusive iteration of the Spectre lineup to date.

Powertrain & Performance

The Spectre Black Badge has a dual‑motor setup producing 659 BHP and 1075 NM of torque, an increase of 74 BHP and 175 NM over the standard model. It accelerates from 0 to 100 KM/H in 4.1 seconds, faster than the regular Spectre, which performs the same sprint in 4.5 seconds.

The battery remains a 102 kWh pack, offering a WLTP‑claimed range between 493–530 KM. Rolls-Royce has added stiffer dampers, roll stabilisation and increased steering weight to manage the extra output while retaining its signature ride comfort, which is the best in the world.

Exterior

Visually, the Black Badge trim blacks out elements on the Pantheon grille, Spirit of Ecstasy ornament, door handles, badges, and window surrounds. You can get 23‑inch forged alloys in part‑polished or full‑black finishes. Customers can choose from 44,000 factory colour options or bespoke shades via Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke division. The illuminated grille backplate offers four hues: Tailored Purple, Charles Blue, Chartreuse and Forge Yellow.

Interior

Inside, the Spectre Black Badge retains the Illuminated Fascia featuring over 5,500 LED “stars” set into a piano‑black panel & presents an infinity‑logo motif on the passenger side. The digital instrument cluster offers five customisable display themes: Vivid Grellow, Neon Nights, Cyan Fire, Ultraviolet and Synth Wave. The cabin has a lot of carbon fibre and metal trim, and the car’s operating system is branded ‘Spirit’.

Conclusion & Pricing

The Spectre Black Badge carries a sticker price of ₹9.50 crore (ex‑showroom), approximately ₹1.88–1.50 crore above the standard Spectre. It is available by order only, with bookings open at dealers in New Delhi & Chennai. The car is meant to be customised & optioned. On average, customers spend about 10% of the price of the car to customise it. The ex-showroom prices do not include options or customisations.
