Rolls-Royce unveiled the refreshed Ghost Series II globally two months ago. Now, Rolls-Royce has announced pricing for the ultra-luxury sedan in India. The car is on sale in Standard, Extended & Black Badge variations. Pricing starts from Rs. 8.95 Crore.
Updates & Changes

Rolls-Royce asked their customers what they’d like to see on an updated Ghost, & the customers simply asked for more customisation options. In response to them, Rolls-Royce has launched the updated Ghost, featuring a “monolithic & self-assured external appearance” serving as a “potent state for Bespoke commissions”. The car is meant to be customised & optioned. On average, customers spend about 10% of the price of the car to customise it.

Changes on the outside are minimal. The front end has been cleaned up to emphasize the Pantheon grille, while the daytime running lights have been made slimmer. You also get to choose between two new 22-inch alloy wheel designs. At the rear, there are new lights similar to the Spectre. The colour in the photo above is also new, joining Rolls-Royce’s arsenal of 44,000 colours.

The car is powered by a 6.75L twin-turbo V12 engine, producing 563 BHP & 850 NM of torque. The suspension setup hasn’t been updated, featuring a fancy Planar Suspension System with all-wheel steering, advanced air suspension & electronic shock absorbers. It also gets the Flagbearer system scanning the road ahead for undulations & preparing the suspension to handle them.

Inside, the updated Ghost features Rolls-Royce’s latest Spirit operating system, with digital dials and a backlit Spirit of Ecstacy.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost is also offered in an “Extended” trim, adding 170mm of legroom in the rear seats. There’s also a sportier driver-focused Black Badge edition on offer, getting an extra 29 BHP & 50 NM of torque. It gets a redesigned lower grille & black chrome instead. Door handles are black too, with new alloy wheels. The interior also offers darker material choices, carbon fiber and more black chrome.
Pricing

Rolls-Royce offers the Standard trim from Rs 8.95 Crore, the Extended trim from Rs 10.19 Crore & the Black Badge trim from Rs. 10.52 Crore. These prices do not include options or customisations, which might add about one crore to the car’s price on average.
