On July 23, 2025, Renault India launched the latest facelift of the Triber mini-MPV. The starting price for the base trim, called ‘Authentic’ is set at ₹6.29 lakh (ex‑showroom, pan‑India). Bookings through the company’s dealership network have reportedly begun following the announcement.

Variant

The new Triber is offered in four variants: Authentic (₹6.29 lakh), Evolution (₹7.24 lakh), Techno (₹7.99 lakh), and Emotion (₹8.64 lakh for manual and ₹9.16 lakh for AMT).

Exterior

The facelift introduces several visible changes, including a slimmer gloss-black front grille with vertical slats, a new 2D Renault logo, sharper LED projector headlights with integrated DRLs, and smoked LED tail lamps connected by a gloss-black panel. Additional updates feature redesigned bumpers, silver skid plates, and new 15-inch alloy wheels. Three new colour options are available: Amber Terracotta, Zanskar Blue, and Shadow Grey.

Interior

Inside, the Triber features a refreshed cabin layout in a dual-tone black and beige theme. It includes a redesigned dashboard and fabric upholstery. An 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is now standard. Other features include a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, rain-sensing wipers, cruise control, push-button start, rear charging sockets, dedicated AC vents for all three rows, and smart entry functionality.

Powertrain

Power is delivered by the existing 1.0-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 72 PS and 96 NM torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. The powertrain and mechanical specifications remain unchanged from the previous generation. A factory-fitted CNG option is expected to be introduced separately.

Safety

All variants now come with six airbags as standard. The safety package also includes ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child-seat mounts, rear parking sensors, speed-alert system, hill-start assist, and seat-belt reminders. A 360-degree camera system enhances visibility in urban settings.

Renault India

The launch is part of Renault India’s broader strategy to reinvigorate its product offerings after sales declined to around 38,600 units in FY25, with market share dropping under 1%. The refreshed Triber marks the first of four new models planned over the next two years, as the company aims to drive production utilisation and support both domestic sales and exports.
