The Renault Triber has been India’s most affordable and practical 7-seater since its debut. Compact in size but generous in space, the Triber has become a favourite among budget-conscious families looking for versatility without breaking the bank. For 2025, Renault has teased a mid-life facelift for the MPV, featuring updated styling and a refreshed interior, while retaining its mechanicals largely unchanged.
What’s New In The 2025 Triber?

This is a cosmetic and feature refresh, not a generational change. But the tweaks are designed to modernise its appearance and enhance its value-for-money (VFM) appeal:
- New blacked-out grille with angular slats, resembling Renault’s global design language.
- Updated Renault diamond logo up front.
- Blacked-out LED tail lamps and redesigned dual-tone rear bumper with grey and black cladding.
- Cabin upgrades are expected, including better materials, new trims, and possibly a larger touchscreen infotainment system.
- Likely structural enhancements and the addition of more airbags to improve safety credentials.
Despite the design revamp, engine options remain unchanged. The 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine continues to deliver 71 HP and 96 NM, paired with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT.
Expect enhancements in the higher trims, such as:
- Possibly a larger infotainment display (up from the current 8-inch unit)
- Wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay
- New upholstery and soft-touch materials
- Revised instrument cluster graphics
Rear AC vents, modular seating with removable third row, and best-in-class boot space flexibility are expected to remain.
Safety
Renault is likely to focus on safety improvements, especially given rising buyer awareness and competitor offerings. More airbags, stronger structure, and enhanced crash safety would help elevate the Triber’s family-friendly image. Current models get dual airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors, and speed alert systems.
Price & Positioning

With prices currently starting at 6.10 lakh and going up to 8.98 lakh (ex-showroom), the facelifted Triber is expected to stay within a similar price bracket. That’s a smart move considering its strong VFM appeal and positioning as an ultra-affordable 7-seater.
