The new 2025 Renault Triber was spotted testing for the first time with heavy camouflage. Renault has updated some features across the variants of the Triber this year, but so far only the rear profile of the facelift has been seen – the interior hasn’t been seen yet.
As we can see, the new Triber will get a new set of split LED tail lights. The tailgate appears to have more creases, with a bumper redesign expected as well. The side profile seems to be similar, but we can reasonably expect a new alloy wheel design in the facelift. However, the front profile can’t be seen in the spy picture, but we can expect that the headlights will be redesigned; maybe it’ll now come with LED lights with a new grille and redesigned bumpers.
Powertrain
Under the hood, the Triber will most likely get the same naturally aspirated 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine with a power output of 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque paired to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. They will also offer CNG fitment at the dealer level.
Features
The Triber will continue to offer existing features like an 8-inch infotainment system, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster for the driver with a wireless charger on the centre console, and 4 speakers with 2 tweeters for the sound system. We can also expect new features, like automatic AC and auto-dimming IRVMs.
Safety
Renault might provide 6 airbags as standard with the facelifted Triber. Currently, only the top variant gets 4 airbags. Active safety features such as ABS, EBD, and TSP with hill start assist, rear parking camera with sensor, and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) will also be included. The Triber has scored a 4-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash tests.
Prices
Currently, the Triber is the most affordable in the 7-seater MPV segment. After the facelift, it will likely get a nominal price hike. The price of the Triber ranges between Rs 6.10 lakh and Rs 8.97 lakh. It doesn’t have any rivals in the Indian market; and can only be considered as an affordable alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, XL6, and Kia Carens.
