Porsche has officially unveiled the Macan GTS Electric, the latest version of the Macan electric SUV range. Positioned above the Macan 4S and below the Macan Turbo, the new GTS electric combines high power output with enhanced dynamics and distinctive styling. It is built on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) architecture which is shared with the Audi Q6 e-tron. It is also the first ever Macan GTS to go all electric. Bookings for the same have already opened in the US, with deliveries set to begin in mid-2026.
Performance & Range

At the heart of the Macan GTS Electric is the same 100 kWh battery pack found in other Macan EV variants, though its optimized for performance. According to WLTP figures, it offers a maximum range of 586 KM. The dual-motor setup provides all-wheel drive capability, supported Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus for sharper cornering stability. With 563 HP and 955 NM of torque from its dual-motor setup, it accelerates from 0 to 100 KM/H in 3.8 seconds using Launch Control. The SUV also benefits from rear-axle steering and a 10MM lower ride height compared to the standard Macan electric, enhancing agility during spirited driving. Porsche’s 800V architecture allows fast charging up to 270 kW, which can replenish the battery from 10 to 80 percent in 21 minutes. Despite its higher performance orientation, the GTS maintains an efficiency balance that makes it suitable for both city driving and long-distance touring.
Exterior Design

Visually, the Macan GTS Electric distinguishes itself with GTS specific design enhancements. The front bumper features larger air intakes and vents with gloss black accents, while the rear gets an adaptive rear spoiler along with GTS-specific badging. The SUV sits on standard 21-inch alloy wheels, with larger 22-inch RS Spyder Design alloys available as optional. Adding to its equipment, the Macan GTS Electric features tinted Matrix LED headlights and taillights that enhance its sporty and dynamic look. Making its debut on this electric Macan is the striking Lugano Blue paint option, joined by other signature shades like Crayon and Carmine Red. For those seeking more individuality, Porsche’s Configurator offers over 60 additional colour choices to create a truly bespoke appearance.
Interior & Features

Inside, Porsche continues its driver-centric philosophy, offering GTS-exclusive upholstery with Race-Tex inserts, red contrast stitching, and carbon-fibre trim. Distinctive GTS elements include a model-specific steering wheel, centre console, and dashboard, all wrapped in suede-like material. The sports seats feature ‘GTS’ embroidery, while the rest of the refined cabin gets soft leather and suede upholstery.

The curved digital cockpit houses dual displays, a 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.9-inch central infotainment screen. The software runs on Porsche’s new infotainment platform based on Android Automotive OS, offering improved responsiveness and connectivity. Additional highlights include power-adjustable front seats, an AI-driven voice assistant, an augmented-reality heads-up display, the My Porsche App, and the Porsche Electric Sport Sound system.
Conclusion: India Launch Soon?

The Macan GTS Electric reinforces Porsche’s strategy of expanding its EV lineup while retaining the brand’s core performance identity. With production set to begin later this year, global deliveries are likely to commence in mid-2026. The GTS variant will also act as a benchmark for upcoming performance-oriented electric SUVs, including future Cayenne EV models. In India, Porsche already has the entry-level Macan electric (₹1.22 crore) and the Macan Turbo electric (from ₹1.73 crore) on sale. Following this, the GTS electric could soon be offered in India. For enthusiasts, it offers a compelling mix of range, power, and precision, wrapped in a package that defines the future of Porsche’s performance SUVs.
