Porsche has quietly introduced a new Design Package for the Macan in India. Available across the Macan, Macan T & Macan GTS variants, the package adds small cosmetic changes. It feels more like an accessory add-on than a visual overhaul.
Design Change
On the outside, the Design Package adds gloss black elements to the window trims, side blades, diffuser, and front air intakes. A new set of alloy wheels and optional contrast stitching are also part of the update. The Macan already has a clean design language, and these blacked-out elements are more likely to appeal to minimalists than those looking for standout street presence.
Interior

Inside, the Design Package continues the theme of subtlety. Porsche now offers new colour options for the seatbelts and stitching, details that will be appreciated only by those with a keen eye. Crucially, there are no material changes, no upgrades to the infotainment system, and no functional additions to cabin ergonomics.
This update does not affect performance. Engine options remain unchanged, with the Macan using a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine pushing 265 BHP, while the GTS continues to offer 440 BHP from a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel-drive system are carried over without any tweaks.
Price Premium
The Design Package comes at a premium of around Rs 4 Lakh to Rs 6 Lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant. The relatively minor cosmetic additions may not warrant the extra spend, especially considering there are no improvements to driving dynamics, equipment, or tech. It starts at Rs. 96.05 Lakh (ex-showroom)

Conclusion
The Design Package is a tasteful, if low-impact, addition to the Macan lineup. It adds a dash of personalisation. However, this is still a relatively muted design and doesn’t scream for attention the way some sporty buyers might want. The first 30 buyers get it at no additional cost.
