The 2nd gen Skoda Kodiaq was earlier showcased at the Bharat Mobility expo. Now, the company has revealed that the Kodiaq’s prices will be revealed in the month of April. This was revealed at the media drive of the 4th Gen Skoda Octavia RS.
2025 Skoda Kodiaq Variants
The Kodiaq is set to be offered in two variants, namely Laurin & Klement (L&K) and Sportline. The Sportline, as the name suggests, is expected to have a more sporty appearance, with elements such as the usage of black in places of chrome, for elements like the grille, mirrors, and more, and a different set of alloy wheels. The interior will also continue with the sporty theme, using blacked-out elements and darker upholstery. There will also be some feature differences between the two models, but this is something that we will get to know only after the launch.
2025 Skoda Kodiaq Engine Details
The same engine that was found in the older model is to continue here as well. The Kodiaq will be powered by a 2-litre TSi engine that produces 190BHP and 320NM of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox and power is sent to all 4 wheels.
2025 Skoda Kodiaq RS Launch Details
Although not confirmed yet, the Kodiaq range is expected to get bigger with the possible introduction of the Kodiaq RS. The launch is expected to take place before 2025, although confirmation regarding the same is awaited. This model has some design changes as compared to the regular Kodiaq, along with bumped-up power figures from the existing engine. The same 2.0-litre TSi now puts out 265BHP and 400NM of torque. This car will be launched as a CBU.
Local Assembly of Kodiaq Sportline And L&K
Unlike the Kodiaq RS, the regular L&K and Sportline variants will be brought in as CKD kits and will be assembled here.
