A heavily camouflaged version of what we believe is the next generation Venue, has been seen for the fisrt time. This compact crossover will likely make its international debut sometime next year and as far as we know, the model is internally codenamed QU2i.

Platform

Not much is known about the architecture, but the spy images confirm the top hat is completely new. The carmaker is likely to retain the boxy shape of the current car. It might get a split headlamp setup similar to the currrent Creta. The bumpers look taller and the grille appears wider with new rectangular design elements. Parking sensors and an ADAS module are visible at the front as well, mostly to be offered on the higher variants.

Styling

The side profile is not clearly visible in these shots, but a wheelbase similar to the current car is expected. While not much of the rear can be seen, the automaker seems to have retained an upright tailgate with horizontal tail lamps that will likely be connected via a light bar.

Interior

To have a completely redesigned dashboard and many components likely to be shared with other models, such as the steering wheel, seats and switch gear. The manufacturer is also likely to offer better quality materials, bigger screens and more creature comfort features. A panoramic sunroof is to be expected as well.

Drivetrain

No major changes to the powertrains to be done; the 1.0 litre turbo petrol, the 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol and the 1.5 litre diesel engines will probably continue until new emission standards come into play sometime around in 2027.

Launch

The new Venue will be among the first few models to be mass produced at the brand’s new Talegaon plant in Maharashtra, with production to begin by late 2025 and the launch will be set to happen around early to mid 2026 is what we estimate.
