MINI has launched the all-electric Countryman SE ALL4 in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹66.90 lakh. This marks the brand’s second all-electric offering in the country after the Cooper SE, signaling its growing commitment to electrified mobility under BMW Group India. The Countryman SE ALL4 arrives as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and brings with it an all-wheel-drive setup and a WLTP-certified range of up to 440 KM. With its arrival, MINI aims to appeal to customers seeking compact practicality and electric performance. Bookings are open at MINI dealerships and the company’s online portal, while deliveries for the model have already started.
Powertrain, Performance, & Charging Capabilities

The Countryman SE ALL4 features a dual-motor setup, one on each axle, providing an all-wheel-drive layout that produces a combined output of 313 HP and 494 NM of torque. As a result, it is the most powerful MINI model on sale in India currently. The SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 KM/H in 5.6 seconds. Power is drawn from a 66.45 kWh battery pack that offers a WLTP-certified range of 440 KM on a full charge. MINI claims the car supports up to 22 kW AC charging, which can fully charge the battery in about 3 hours and 45 minutes. DC fast charging at 130 kW is available too, which can replenish the battery from 10 to 80 percent in under 30 minutes. This balance of performance and efficiency positions the Countryman SE as a capable electric crossover for both spirited and long drives.
Exterior Design: JCW-Specific Elements Make It Sporty

The new Countryman SE ALL4 follows MINI’s updated design language, featuring a clean, upright profile and distinctive LED lighting elements. The vehicle measures 4,445 MM in length and 2,069 MM in width (including side mirrors), making it the largest MINI yet. It gets a refreshed look with a sleeker, more sculpted bonnet, updated headlamps, and a revised grille. As a JCW trim, it features bold black accents, including blacked-out stripes, roof rails, and wheel-arch cladding, along with 19-inch alloy wheels. The vehicle’s Jet Black roof and contrasting mirror caps add to its dynamic appearance. Available in two colors, Legend Grey and Midnight Black, both are paired with a Jet Black roof and mirror caps for a uniform look.
Interior & Features: Familiar Look With Modern Touches

Inside the SE All4, you’ll find distinctive JCW touches, including unique steering, seats, and trim details. The cabin features a powered driver’s seat, ambient lighting, and a panoramic glass roof. A 9.4-inch circular OLED display serves as the centerpiece, integrating infotainment and vehicle controls, and runs on the brand’s latest MINI Operating System 9. It even gets a heads-up display, wireless phone mirroring, a 360-degree camera, and Harman Kardon audio system. Despite its compact proportions, the Countryman SE offers a spacious cabin and 460 litres of boot space, making it practical for family use. For safety, the car comes equipped with multiple airbags along with a tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
Market Position & Competition

With the launch of the Countryman SE ALL4, MINI is targeting India’s growing premium EV market, which has recently seen new entrants from Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW itself. Positioned between the compact luxury hatchbacks and mid-size electric SUVs, the Countryman SE faces competition from models like the Volvo XC40 Recharge, BMW iX1, and Mercedes-Benz EQA. While its pricing is on the higher side compared to some rivals, the MINI’s appeal lies in its unique design and compact dimensions. The Countryman SE ALL4 offers a good choice that blends everyday usability with a characterful driving experience.
