JSW MG Motor India is scheduled to officially debut its new flagship SUV, the MG Majestor, on February 12, 2026. Positioned in the emerging “D+ SUV” segment, the Majestor sits above the Gloster in the brand’s lineup. It is based on the Maxus D90 ladder-frame SUV that was showcased in India at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo.

The Majestor is significantly larger than its primary competitor, the Toyota Fortuner, focusing on maximizing cabin volume and third-row utility.

The MG Majestor is expected to be priced in the ₹40 lakh to ₹50 lakh (ex-showroom) bracket, though final prices will be revealed after launch. Pre-bookings are expected to open immediately after the February 12 debut.
Its primary rivals include the Toyota Fortuner Legender, Skoda Kodiaq, and the upcoming Volkswagen Tayron. By offering Level 2 ADAS and superior dimensions, MG aims to capture buyers looking for more technology than the current segment leader provides.
