The revised ex-showroom prices now range from ₹39.56 lakh for the base Sharp 7S 2.0 Turbo 2WD variant to ₹44.74 lakh for the top-tier Blackstorm and Desertstorm trims. This adjustment follows MG’s earlier announcement of a 3% price hike across its entire portfolio starting January 1, 2025, driven by rising input costs and inflationary pressures.

• Entry-Level Impact: The base Sharp 7S variant now costs ₹76,200 more, while mid-spec Savvy and Blackstorm variants see an ₹80,000 increase.

Why The Increase?

MG attributes the price hike to rising raw material costs and supply chain challenges, a trend mirrored by other automakers like Hyundai, Mahindra, and BMW.
