MG Cyberster & M9 Pre Bookings Open

MG has commenced pre-bookings for its upcoming niche offerings in India- the Cyberster and M9. These vehicles will be sold via MG’s premium sales channel known as “MG Select”.

MG Cyberster

The Cyberster is an electric 2-door convertible roadster. Upon launch, it is expected to create a niche segment of value lifestyle vehicles in India. The Cyberster comes with swanky scissor doors and is loaded with all the bells and whistles that one would expect a premium car to have in 2025. The Cyberster is no slouch, and it can go fast. The Cyberster recently set a record for being the fastest ever roadster that MG has ever made. The car achieved a 0- 100 KMPH sprint time of 3.2 seconds on the Sambhar Salt Lake in Rajasthan. The Cyberster comes with a 77 kWh battery pack that is capable of providing a range of 500 km on a single charge. The motors of the Cyberster generate an output of 510 BHP and 725 Nm of torque.

MG M9

The M9 is a luxury electric MPV that aims to offer an experience similar to that of the Toyota Vellfire. The M9 is loaded with features such as heated ORVMs with memory function, ventilated seats with massage function, multi-zone climate control, premium ambient lighting, air purifier, level 2 ADAS, rear privacy glass, etc. The M9 is powered by a 90 kWh battery pack that takes the MPV up to 430 km on a single charge. The M9 is propelled by an electric motor that produces 240 BHP and 350Nm of torque.

Sales & Availability

MG’s Select premium channel is making its debut with the launch of the Cyberster and M9. Prospective buyers can pay a token amount of Rs. 51,000 and book their vehicle. Customers may book either online or at a dealership. MG Select dealerships will be available in 13 major cities, namely Surat, Kochi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Delhi, Pune, Thane, and Mumbai. Deliveries are expected to start in Q2 2025.
