Mercedes-AMG has launched the second-generation GT 63 and GT 63 Pro in India. Both models will arrive as completely built units (CBUs). The deliveries of the GT 63 and will begin by Q4 2025, followed by the GT 63 Pro by Q1 2026. The GT 63 and GT 63 Pro are priced at Rs 3 crore and Rs 3.65 crore, respectively (ex-showroom).
Engine & Performance

Both the GT 63 and GT 63 Pro are powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, paired with a 9-speed AMG Speedshift MCT transmission. The standard GT 63 delivers an estimated 585 HP and 800 NM, while the GT 63 Pro variant is expected to produce around 612 HP and 850 NM. The 0-100 KM/H run takes 3.2 and 3.1 seconds in the GT 63 and GT 63 Pro, respectively.
Both models include the 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system to boost traction and stability across varied driving conditions. The Pro variant, in its global form, benefits from significant performance enhancements such as stiffer AMG-active suspension, upgraded aerodynamics, carbon-ceramic brakes, lightweight forged wheels, and reinforced cooling systems, but Mercedes has not confirmed whether India-spec units will feature optional track-oriented upgrades like a roll cage or other weight-saving modifications. The official details released by Mercedes-Benz India mention enhanced engine power, aerodynamics, and cooling systems, but they omit references to roll-cage equipment or other bespoke performance kit in the Indian trim.
Interior Layout & Features

Inside, the layout includes a dual-screen setup for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, operated via the MBUX user interface. Interior features include sports seats, ambient lighting, and various drive modes that adjust settings like suspension and throttle response.
Standard comfort features are likely to include a premium audio system, wireless connectivity, and voice command support, though the primary focus of the cabin remains oriented towards performance.
Exterior Design & Aerodynamics

The exterior retains key AMG design elements: Panamericana grille, extended bonnet, prominent wheel arches, and an active rear spoiler. The GT 63 Pro may receive additional aerodynamic updates, such as a larger front splitter, rear diffuser, and a fixed rear wing, depending on the final Indian specification. These aerodynamic components are functional and intended to assist with cooling and downforce during high-speed or track-oriented driving.
The GT 63 and GT 63 Pro will compete with models such as the Porsche 911, BMW M8, and certain trims of the Audi R8. One difference is that the AMG GT continues to offer 2+2 seating, which may appeal to buyers looking for performance vehicles with marginally more cabin flexibility.
