Maruti Suzuki is India’s leading carmaker and they have increased their manufacturing capacity with their Kharkhoda Plant. Operations at the Kharkhoda plant commenced recently.
Maruti Suzuki Kharkhoda Production Unit
The brand developed this Production facility to increase their production capacity for the financial year 2025-26. After some minor delays on the way, the brand has now commenced production in the Kharkhoda plant. The Kharkhoda plant is situated in Sonipat, Haryana. This plant has a capacity of producing 2,50,000 cars per year.
Production Commenced In The Kharkhoda Plant
Maruti previously used to manufacture Brezza, Dzire, Ertiga and WagonR in the Manesar plant. The Manesar plant recently achieved the feat of manufacturing 1 crore units in October 2024. It took 18 years for the plant to reach this feat since the production began in October 2006.
Maruti will be manufacturing Brezza in the Kharkhoda plant and the brand will be adding their remaining models in the production line in the near future.
