Unlike a mechanical update, the Mahindra Thar Roxx Star Edition focuses on aesthetic and cabin upgrades that give the SUV a more personalized feel:
- Blacked-out styling: The grille and alloy wheels receive a gloss-black finish.
- New paint option: A standout Citrine Yellow color debuts exclusively for the Star Edition, alongside existing shades such as Tango Red, Everest White and Stealth Black.

Mechanically, the Star Edition carries over the existing Thar Roxx powertrain options without changes. It is offered in rear-wheel-drive (RWD) configuration across all variants, with both petrol and diesel choices available:

- 2.2-litre mHawk diesel (up to 175 HP/400 NM in RWD AT)
There is no four-wheel-drive option in the Star Edition.
