The upcoming SUVs that are coming with the new platform will go into mass production in Mahindra’s new factory in Chakan, Pune. Mahindra’s new car manufacturing facility in Chakan can produce up to 120,000 vehicles annually. The new facility is expected to create thousands of jobs in the local area. As per reports, Bolero will be the first car to be manufactured in the new factory in Chakan, Pune.
The Next-Generation Bolero
The all-new upcoming Bolero is highly anticipated by fans and industry experts alike. It is expected to hit the market in 2026. The next-generation Bolero is expected to retain its rugged body design with modern upgrades; in addition, it will get a new-age interior. The next-gen Bolero is poised to set a new standard in the SUV market. The next-generation Bolero is expected to feature multiple engine options, such as a 1.5-litre turbo diesel, 2.2-litre turbo diesel and 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol. The next-generation Bolero is also rumoured to have advanced safety features and improved technology. Additionally, it is expected to have a more modern design both on the interior and exterior. The EV version of the Bolero will also be built on the same platform, which will be tailored for electric powertrains.
Mahindra’s Future Plan

Mahindra is planning to expand its lineup with 7 internal combustion engine SUVs and 5 electric SUVs. Among those, 3 internal combustion engine SUVs and 2 electric SUVs will be launching next year. This shows Mahindra’s commitment towards revolutionising the SUV industry with a mix of traditional and electric powertrains.
