Overview
- After the successful launch and achievements of the Scorpio N, Mahindra tested their pickup truck based on the latest Scorpio N design in Manali, India.
- Scorpio Getaway, being the victorious model in foreign markets.
- It hardly achieved any sales in India due to the low preference for the pickup truck segment in local markets.

Scorpio N Pickup
- According to the images, it has the front grille and headlamp setup borrowed from the Scorpio N.
- The pickup also receives R18 wheels with 255/60 tyres mated to diamond-cut alloys from the Scorpio N.
- The powertrain expected will be the same as Scorpio, the 2.2-liter turbo-diesel engine.
- Though the overall design looks new, we are still wondering what’s wrong with the tail lamps, which look like they came from an old-gen Scorpio.

Conclusion
- Though they are testing a single-cab unit, Mahindra may also have plans for a dual-cab model on the papers for the new Scorpio N Pickup.
- As demand for Scorpio N Pickup is more in exports, we may see this model in foreign markets like Australia and Africa soon.
- With all the features, a Scorpio N Double Cab (maybe inspired by the Z8 or Z8L) would make a strong competitor to the Hilux.
