Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon Edition Launched At Rs 19.19 Lakhs

Mahindra has launched the Carbon edition of the Scorpio N. The carbon edition has all-black elements both on the exterior and interior, giving the Scorpio some added stealth. The Scorpio N Carbon Edition is a direct rival to the Tata Harrier Dark Edition.

Scorpio N Carbon Edition Exterior & Interior Changes

The Scorpio N Carbon Edition follows a stealthy all-black design language. Elements that were previously in chrome, such as the door handles, window side molding, roof rails, and diamond-cut 18-inch alloy wheels, have now been blacked out. The Scorpio N Carbon edition comes in a single Stealth Black color option.

On the inside, the vehicle receives a similar black treatment, with elements like the dashboard, leatherette seats, roof liner, and door trims are now blacked out.

However, one must note that the Carbon edition is only available in the 7-seater configuration. The feature list is also identical to the regular Scorpio N, with standout features being an 8-inch touchscreen, a sunroof, multiple drive modes, a dual zone AC, a 12-speaker sound system, and 6 airbags.

Scorpio N Carbon Edition Engine Details

The same engines found on the regular Scorpio N continue to do duty here as well. The Carbon edition comes with a choice of 2 engine options namely a 2-litre turbo petrol engine producing 203BHP and a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 175BHP. Both of these engines come with a choice of a manual or an automatic gearbox. However, 4WD is only available with the Diesel engine.

Scorpio N Carbon Edition Rivals

As of now, the Scorpio N Carbon edition can be considered a direct rival to the Tata Harrier Dark Edition. Both of these vehicles fall in the 24 lac rupee price bracket.

When compared to the regular Z8 and Z8L trims, the Carbon edition commands a fixed price premium of 20,000 rupees. This price premium is irrespective of the engine option or gearbox option. Below is the full price list of the Scorpio N Carbon Edition:
