Mahindra has officially introduced two electric SUVs, the BE 6 and XEV 9e, into Nepal’s rapidly evolving EV market, debuting at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025. These models form the next wave of Mahindra’s electric offerings, built on the brand’s INGLO platform and powered by its MAIA intelligent architecture. The BE 6 begins at NPR 57 lakh (approx. INR 35.7 lakh), while the XEV 9e starts at NPR 69 lakh (approx. INR 43.2 lakh). Here’s how the pricing breaks down by variant:
| Model | Variant | Price (NPR Lakh) |
|---|---|---|
| BE 6 | Pack One Above | 57 |
| Pack Two | 61 | |
| Pack Three Select | 68 | |
| XEV 9e | Pack Two | 77.65 |
| Pack Three | 107 |
BE 6 – Coupe-SUV EV For Practical Use
The Mahindra BE 6 caters to buyers seeking a futuristic electric SUV, priced from NPR 57 to 68 lakh depending on the variant. It features a 59 kWh LFP battery paired with a 99 kW electric motor, resulting in a driving range of approximately 557 km (MIDC P1+P2). The design reflects a sporty coupe-SUV stance, complete with flush door handles and LED lighting, while the cabin includes advanced elements like a race-inspired digital cockpit, VisionX augmented reality heads-up display, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.

XEV 9e – Premium Experience With More Power
The XEV 9e steps up the game with pricing starting from NPR 69 lakh for the Pack Two variant and going up to NPR 107 lakh for Pack Three. It offers both 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery options, delivering ranges between 542 and 656 km (MIDC), and is powered by a motor that ranges from 99 kW to a more potent 199 kW in the top trim. The interior follows a tech-forward approach, with a cinematic triple-screen display, premium audio, ADAS Level 2+, 360-degree cameras, and the LiveYourMood ambient experience feature.

How These Nepal Models Differ From The Indian Spec
While sharing the foundational INGLO architecture and battery configurations with their Indian counterparts, the Nepal-spec BE 6 and XEV 9e have downsized motor outputs from up to 170–210 kW to a more modest 99 kW, likely aimed at reducing import duties and improving price accessibility in Nepal. Import duties still make these EVs significantly more expensive than in India, where the BE 6 starts from around ₹19 lakh and the XEV 9e from ₹21.9 lakh. Despite these changes, both models retain their full battery packs and premium feature sets, ensuring that range and in-cabin experience remain uncompromised.
