New Features On RevX Edge
The RevX Edge adds several features over the RevX M(O). It gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a rearview camera. A Type-C USB port and cruise control are also part of the package. The RevX Edge retains the distinctive RevX styling, including dual-tone paint, a body-coloured grille and blacked-out alloy wheels.
RevX Edge(O) Features

The RevX Edge(O) adds more convenience and exterior equipment over the standard Edge. It gets a panoramic sunroof, roof rails and electrically foldable ORVMs. Automatic headlamps and wipers are also included. Remote entry and push-button start further expand the equipment list.
XUV 3XO Safety Features
Safety equipment remains consistent across the XUV 3XO range. Standard features include six airbags, ESC and ISOFIX child-seat mounts. The SUV also gets reverse parking sensors, three-point seat belts for all passengers and seat-belt reminders. Higher variants continue to offer additional equipment depending on their position in the line-up.
Petrol & Diesel Powertrains
The XUV 3XO continues with multiple petrol and diesel powertrain options. The 111 HP 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine is now available in the new RevX Edge variants with manual and automatic gearboxes. The 117 HP 1.5-litre diesel engine also joins the RevX range with manual and AMT options. The higher RevX A and AX7 variants continue to offer the 131 HP 1.2-litre TGDi turbo-petrol engine with manual and automatic gearboxes.

Mahindra now offers the XUV 3XO in 11 variants: MX1, MX2, RevX M, RevX M(O), RevX Edge, RevX Edge(O), AX5, RevX A, AX5L, AX7 and AX7L. The new structure gives buyers more combinations across the range. The 1.5-litre diesel is available from MX2 and also features on RevX Edge, RevX Edge(O), AX5, AX7 and AX7L. Meanwhile, the 1.2-litre TGDi engine remains available on RevX A, AX5L, AX7 and AX7L.

Verdict
The RevX Edge update gives Mahindra more flexibility in the middle of the XUV 3XO range. The new trims bring features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, cruise control and a panoramic sunroof to lower price points. The addition of diesel-manual and diesel-AMT options also broadens the RevX range. With the updated variant structure, buyers can choose between several petrol and diesel powertrains while moving through a wider spread of equipment levels.
