Lexus India has updated its RX range with the launch of the RX 350h Exquisite variant, priced at ₹89.99 lakh ex-showroom. This new trim replaces the previous entry-level Luxury trim, sitting below the performance oriented RX 500h F Sport Plus. It is also more affordable by ₹6.14 lakh compared to the Luxury trim (₹96.13 lakh). The price of the top-spec RX 500h F-Sport+ has also been decreased by ₹9 lakh (now priced at ₹1.09 crore). Lexus reports that the RX range has grown by 12% between January and November 2025, with SUVs contributing around 40% of its total sales during the period.
Features Same As The Luxury Trim

The RX 350h Exquisite offers the same equipment as the former Luxury trim. It features a 14-inch touchscreen, 10-way power-adjustable front seats with memory, and electrically reclining rear seats. Both rows receive heating and ventilation, while ambient lighting enhances the cabin experience. Buyers can also opt for the 21-speaker Mark Levinson audio system at an additional ₹2.03 lakh. The Exquisite variant adds a 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS, matching the feature list of the previous Luxury trim. It also includes connected car technology and a Lexus-branded sound system by default.
Hybrid System With A 2.5-Litre Engine

Powering the RX 350h Exquisite is the brand’s familiar 2.5-litre four cylinder hybrid system. This setup produces 246 HP and a maximum torque of 242 NM, paired with an e-CVT. It is offered with FWD and has a claimed 0 to 100 KM/H acceleration time of 7.9 seconds along with an ARAI fuel efficiency of 18.8 KM/L. Lexus focuses on providing smooth acceleration rather than high output numbers with this configuration. Buyers who want stronger performance still have the option of the RX 500h F Sport Plus, which uses a turbo hybrid system with a higher combined output (366 HP, 460 NM) and added hardware, such as rear wheel steering and the DIRECT4 control system.
Positioning In The Luxury SUV Market

The RX 350h Exquisite, priced at ₹89.99 lakh, undercuts its main rivals, including the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Audi Q7. It offers many of the core features buyers expect in a premium SUV. Lexus aims to strengthen its hybrid focused portfolio with this variant as the luxury SUV segment continues to expand. The RX already plays a major role in Lexus India’s volume performance. This Exquisite trim is expected to increase the model’s reach without altering its core formula of comfort, refinement and hybrid efficiency.
