Land Rover has introduced the Defender 110 Trophy Edition in India, priced at ₹1.30 crore (ex-showroom). The new model pays homage to the brand’s long-standing connection with the legendary Camel Trophy expeditions of the 1980s and 1990s. It is known for testing vehicles in some of the toughest terrains on earth. Based on the Defender 110 D300, this special edition combines the off-road strength of the Defender with unique cosmetic and equipment upgrades that reflect Land Rover’s adventurous legacy.
Exterior & Interior

The Defender 110 Trophy Edition is differentiated by its distinctive styling cues that reference the original expedition vehicles. The SUV is available with two colour options, namely Deep Sandglow Yellow and Keswick Green. It gets contrasting black finish for the roof, bonnet, side body cladding and wheel-arches. Along with that, it gets a Trophy Edition decal on the bonnet and C-pillar. The package includes a roof rack, deployable ladder, front underbody protection, mud flaps, and a snorkel as part of accessories. It also comes with 20-inch alloy wheels with gloss black finish coupled with all-terrain tyres. The vehicle retains its strong, boxy proportions and high stance, which has made the modern Defender instantly recognizable.

Inside, the cabin gets a new Ebony Windsor leather upholstery, along with Trophy branding on LED plates. It combines practicality with comfort, offering a panoramic sunroof, and Land Rover’s 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system. Connectivity options include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a premium Meridian sound system.
Powertrain & Capability

Under the hood, the Defender 110 Trophy Edition uses a 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine producing 350 HP and 700 NM of torque. It comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive as standard. The SUV can sprint from 0 to 100 KM/H in 6.4 seconds, with a top speed of 191 KM/H. It also features the brand’s Terrain Response 2 technology, which allows the SUV to automatically adjust its settings based on driving conditions. The model includes off-road enhancements such as electronic air suspension and a two-speed (high/low) transfer case.
Positioning & Market Outlook

The Trophy Edition strengthens Land Rover’s Defender lineup in India by appealing to buyers who value exclusivity and adventure-oriented capability. Priced at ₹1.30 crore, it sits above the standard Defender variants but below the high-performance Defender V8. It competes with rugged high-end SUVs, primarily the newly launched Mercedes-Benz G-Class G 450d, both known for their durability and prestige. With its classic design and modern technology, the Trophy Edition aims to capture enthusiasts who appreciate Land Rover’s “spirit of exploration.”
