The Tricolore name has returned to Lamborghini after a 15-year break with a bespoke version of the Temerario. Revealed at the 2026 Monterey Car Week, the Temerario Tricolore has been created by Lamborghini’s Centro Stile design studio and Ad Personam customisation programme. It also marks 20 years of Lamborghini’s Ad Personam programme.
Lamborghini Temerario Tricolore Exterior Design
The Temerario Tricolore features a bespoke two-tone exterior combining Bianco Monocerus on the upper sections with Blu Marinus Shiny on the lower bodywork. The bonnet gets green, white and red stripes inspired by the Italian flag, giving the car its distinctive Tricolore identity.
Glossy Nero Noctis detailing is used on the exterior rear-view mirror housings, wheels and engine cover. Red brake calipers provide another contrasting element, while the standard Temerario’s sharp design remains intact with slim LED headlamps, hexagonal daytime running lights and prominent aerodynamic elements.
The 21-inch wheels further enhance its aggressive stance, while the combination of contrasting colours and black detailing gives the bespoke model a more distinctive appearance than the standard Temerario.
Lamborghini Temerario Tricolore Interior
The cabin retains the overall layout of the standard Temerario but receives several bespoke details developed through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam programme. Nero Ade upholstery is combined with Rosso Alala contrast stitching across various parts of the interior.
The Italian flag is incorporated into the steering wheel, while ‘Tricolore’ lettering appears on the door panels. A bespoke Temerario silhouette is integrated towards the rear of the cabin, accompanied by hexagonal patterns inspired by the car’s LED daytime running lights.
Lamborghini says the materials, colours and graphic elements were selected as a single creative composition, rather than as individual customisation options. This gives the cabin a more cohesive appearance while retaining the standard Temerario’s driver-focused layout.
Lamborghini Temerario Tricolore Powertrain
The Tricolore retains the Temerario’s plug-in hybrid powertrain. At its heart is a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine working with three electric motors, including two mounted at the rear and one at the front. The combined system produces 920hp, with power sent through an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Lamborghini claims the Temerario can accelerate from 0-100KM/H in 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 340KM/H.
Despite its bespoke styling and exclusive details, the Tricolore therefore retains the full performance capability of Lamborghini’s latest V8 hybrid supercar.
Lamborghini Temerario Tricolore Exclusivity
The Tricolore name last appeared on a Lamborghini with the Gallardo LP 550-2 in 2011. Its return on the Temerario therefore gives the special edition considerable significance within Lamborghini’s history. The company has currently created only one Temerario Tricolore. It also serves as a showcase for the possibilities offered by Lamborghini’s Ad Personam programme, which allows customers to specify highly individual combinations of colours, materials and finishes.
Rather than introducing mechanical upgrades, the Tricolore focuses on design and exclusivity. The Italian flag-inspired exterior graphics, bespoke interior details and carefully coordinated colour scheme distinguish it from the regular Temerario.

The Temerario Tricolore marks the return of one of Lamborghini’s most recognisable special-edition names after 15 years. Rather than changing the car’s mechanical package, Lamborghini has concentrated on creating a cohesive visual identity around its Italian heritage.
With its Blu Marinus Shiny and Bianco Monocerus exterior, Italian flag-inspired graphics, bespoke cabin and 920hp hybrid powertrain, the Temerario Tricolore combines Lamborghini’s modern electrified performance with a strong connection to the brand’s Italian roots.
