Kia EV6 Facelift Launched in India

The Kia EV6 has been Kia’s premium sedan model in the Indian market. It has recently received a facelift globally, which has now been brought to Indian shores. Kia has made a few subtle changes to the model.

Design

Kia has carried forward the EV6’s bold and futuristic styling. The front end gets a refreshed look with a more aggressive grille and sleeker LED headlights, giving it a sharper, more modern appearance. The car’s coupe-like silhouette remains, maintaining a sporty and dynamic stance.

At the rear, the facelift introduces updated LED taillights that now stretch across the full width of the car. The car’s body lines are more defined, with better aerodynamics. It maintains the EV6’s identity as Kia’s sleek futuristic flagship sedan.

Interior

Inside, the Kia EV6’s cabin features a minimalistic design with a large curved display that combines the instrument cluster and infotainment screen. The materials have been upgraded for a more premium feel, and the seats are comfortable and supportive. The cabin is spacious, offering ample legroom and headroom for passengers. Kia has also focused on improving sound insulation, making the interior quieter.

Powertrain

The Kia EV6 facelift continues with the same battery technology as in the previous model. It comes with an 85 kWh lithium-ion battery pack delivering a claimed range of 663 KM. It has 325 BHP & 605 Nm of torque and comes with all-wheel drive. It goes from 0-100 KM/H in just 5.3 seconds. It can fast charge up to 80% in just 18 minutes with a 350 kW charger.

Pricing

The Kia EV6 starts at Rs. 65.90 Lakh (ex-showroom). Its competitors include the Hyundai Ioniq 5, the Mercedes-Benz EQA, the BMW iX1 LWB and the BYD Seal / Sealion 7. The Kia is comparatively priced at quite a premium
