New HTE (O) Automatic Variants
The HTE (O) is now available with both automatic powertrains. The turbo-petrol version uses a 1.5-litre direct-injection engine with a 7-speed DCT. It costs Rs 14.67 lakh. The HTE (O) diesel-AT pairs a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 116 HP with a 6-speed torque-converter automatic. It costs Rs 15.82 lakh. The turbo-petrol-DCT HTE (O) is now the cheapest automatic variant in the Carens Clavis range.
HTE (EX) Gets Turbo-Petrol DCT
The HTE (EX) also gets the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with the 7-speed DCT. This variant costs Rs 15.22 lakh. Kia is also offering an Automatic Pack with the new automatic variants. The package adds several features over the corresponding manual versions. These include a smart key with motion sensing, push-button start/stop and drive modes. Buyers also get an electronic parking brake and remote engine start.
