Following the ICE Kia Carens Clavis, Kia India is set to launch another addition to the Carens Clavis Lineup in India. The Kia Carens Clavis EV is expected to debut on July 15, 2025, marking the First mass-market three-row electric MPV launched in India. Kia Carens Clavis has been spotted in camouflage even after the launch of the Clavis itself, this test mule can be assumed to be the Carens Clavis EV.
Powertrain & Range

As Kia and Hyundai both operate under the Hyundai Motor Group, the Kia Carens Clavis EV is expected to share the proven Hyundai Creta EV platform. There will be two Battery Pack options to be offered, 42 kWh and 51–51.5 kWh. The Motor outputs are expected to be around 133 BHP and 169 BHP. Along with this, the Clavis EV should be supporting both 11 kW AC and 50 kW DC fast charging.
Design & Styling

Kia Carens Clavis EV continues to carry forward the design elements from its ICE variants, including the inverted‑L “Star Map” DRLs, full-width connected tail lamps, and Ice Cube LED headlamps, which will also have the same MPV body line seen in the Kia Carens Clavis ICE variants. Clavis EV is also expected to sit on the 17 inch dual-tone alloy wheels, but expect it to be more aerodynamically optimized for the EV.
Features & Safety

Kia should be offering almost the same feature list in the EV variants as that of the ICE variant, which includes the Bose premium audio, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, one-touch electric tumble for the second row, panoramic sunroof, 360° camera, Level‑2 ADAS suite, and 26.6 inch dual panoramic display (infotainment + digital instrument cluster). Kia will offer safety features like electronic stability control, hill-assist functions, blind-spot monitoring, and 6 airbags.
Conclusion
The price reveal for the Kia Carens Clavis EV is expected on the 15th of July. Level 2 ADAS could also be equipped in pricier trim levels.
