Jeep have revealed a special ‘Anniversary Edition’ for the Compass as it celebrates its eighth anniversary here in India. The limited run model gets a few visual enhancements and an exclusive set of accessories. Bookings have commenced either online via the automaker’s website or can be done through the authorised dealerships.

Changes

It gets a dual tone decal on the bonnet as well as a Velvet Red embellishment on the sixth grille slot. Inside, it gets Velvet Red seat covers, an integrated dashcam and white ambient lighting. The edition is based on the Longitude (O) variant but is priced ₹43,000 higher.
Drivetrain

Under the hood is the same two litre, four cylinder, diesel engine as the standard car, making 170 HP and 350 N-m of peak torque. Transmission options include either a six speed manual gearbox or a nine speed torque convertor automatic, and all the power is sent only to the front wheels.
