Just recently after adding a new ‘S(O) Plus’ trim with a sunroof for the Venue, Hyundai now have made this feature even more affordable with the new ‘S Plus’ variant that slots between the lower-spec ‘S’ and the mid-spec ‘S(O)’ versions.

Pricing
The new ‘S Plus’ variant is priced at ₹9.36 lakh (ex-showroom), which is a premium of ₹25,000 over the ‘S’ model and the freshly introduced ‘S(O) Plus’ version with a sunroof costs ₹64,000 more than the ‘S Plus’.

Powertrain
Notably, the new model in the line-up is available only with the base level naturally aspirated 1.2 litre petrol engine that is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and produces 83 HP @ 6,000 rpm, 114 N-m of torque @ 4,000 rpm.

Features
Aside from the sunroof being the main highlight feature, it also gets items like an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a semi-digital driver’s instrument console, auto-headlights and rear seat AC vents.

As for the safety kit offered; It includes six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC) and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
