The Exter was introduced in 2023 as a direct rival to the Tata Punch. Since debut, it has become a popular choice among buyers due to its upright exterior design and features on offer. The ‘Knight Edition’ has been introduced to mark its one year anniversary.

Prices
The Knight edition is only being offered with the SX and SX(O) Connect variants. It commands a premium of ₹15,000 and is available with both manual and automatic options.

Changes
As with the Venue Knight edition, the Exter too comes with an all black exterior with red highlights. Other changes include all black front and rear skid plates, black alloy wheels, red brake callipers and a Knight edition badge. On the inside, it comes with an all black interior theme, black seats, red inserts on the AC vents and seats.
Apart from the new Abyss Black color, the Knight Edition is also available in four other monotone and two dual tone paint options: Starry Night, Atlas White, Ranger Khaki, Shadow Grey (new), Ranger Khaki with Abyss Black roof and Shadow Grey with Abyss Black roof (new).

Similarities
Has the same list of equipment as the regular Exter, like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, wireless phone charging, auto AC, sunroof and dash cam with dual cameras.
Carries over the 1.2L N/A petrol engine that produces 83 PS of power and 114 N-m of torque, that is paired with either a five speed manual transmission or a five speed AMT. The Knight Edition however is not available with the CNG powertrain option.
