Hyundai has launched the 2026 Exter Knight Edition in India at a starting price of Rs 8.14 lakh (ex-showroom). The special edition adds black exterior elements, red brake callipers and an all-black cabin to the facelifted Exter.
The Knight Edition is available with the petrol and CNG versions of the HX 6 trim. Additionally, buyers can choose it with the petrol-AMT version of the HX 10 trim. It costs Rs 15,000 more than the corresponding standard variants.
Exter Knight Edition Gets Sportier Exterior
The Hyundai Exter Knight Edition receives several dark exterior elements to create a sportier appearance. These include black Hyundai logos, dark Exter lettering and dark grey garnish on the front and rear bumpers.
The 15-inch alloy wheels also get black or dark grey finishes, depending on the variant. Furthermore, red front brake callipers add contrast, while a Knight badge sits on the tailgate.
Five Exterior Colours Available
Hyundai offers the Exter Knight Edition in five exterior colours. These include Titanium Black, Atlas White, Starry Night, Titan Grey and Golden Bronze.
However, the Ranger Khaki colour is not available with the Knight Edition. This colour remains exclusive to the standard Exter range.
Cabin Gets All-Black Theme
Inside, the Exter Knight Edition gets an all-black cabin instead of the navy and grey theme offered on the standard model. Brass-coloured accents add contrast to the dashboard and interior trim.
The SUV also gets amber footwell lighting and black fabric seat upholstery. Meanwhile, the overall dashboard layout remains unchanged from the standard Exter.
Features Remain Similar To Standard Variants
The Knight Edition retains the equipment available on its corresponding standard trims. The HX 6 gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a single-pane sunroof and automatic climate control with rear AC vents.
It also offers powered ORVMs and a rear parking camera with sensors. Meanwhile, the HX 10 adds a wireless phone charger, cooled glovebox, connected car technology and a rear wiper with washer.
Petrol & CNG Engines Continue
The Exter Knight Edition uses the same 1.2-litre petrol engine as the standard model. It produces 83 HP and 114 NM. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.
The CNG version produces 69 HP and 95 NM. However, Hyundai offers the CNG powertrain only with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Prices In India
The Hyundai Exter Knight Edition costs Rs 15,000 more than the corresponding standard variants. The special edition is available in four configurations across petrol and CNG powertrains.
