Hyundai Motor’s Exter, being famous in the Indian Micro SUV market for being value for money, gets the addition of two new variants: S Smart and SX Smart. With the launch of these variants of Exter, Hyundai is aiming to offer more premium features at an attractive price, targeting a wider customer base than before and making Exter more accessible to new buyers.
Pricing & Powertrain Options

Both the new variants are priced aggressively, the Exter S Smart variant being priced at ₹7.68 lakh, while the SX Smart comes in at ₹8.16 lakh (both ex-showroom). These two new variants are powered by the 1.2-litre Kappa naturally aspirated petrol engine, coming along with a choice of 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic transmission. In addition to this, Hyundai has also introduced the dual cylinder CNG Technology into these two variants, making more options available for the Customers.

Safety Features

Active safety features are consistent throughout the Exter lineup. The safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-start assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, Three-point seatbelts for all seats, and Seatbelt reminder for all seats.
